When our friends at Vitamix called with a top-secret project, we jumped at the chance to collaborate with them. Working hand-in-hand with their internal teams, we helped develop and execute a multi-platform approach for the launch of the S30, their first “line extension.” Our goal was to showcase the versatility and ease of use of this new product while making it relatable to a new audience.

The Process

This project had a number of tricky elements: a tight schedule, multiple locations, set dressing an entire apartment, and a child actor. To pull it off our production team created an air-tight schedule so our creative team was able to focus on working with the actors to create a believable family dynamic and convincing world in which their characters could exist.

Completing the Story


After the success of the S30 launch, Vitamix asked Spacejunk to create two additional videos as an internet pre-roll campaign. We concepted short story lines that highlighted both nutrition and portability as key aspects of the product’s appeal.
