It’s always a bonus for us to partner with brands we love. And at Spacejunk, we love fine whiskey! That’s why we were pumped to help the good people at Fitch spread the word about Jack Daniel’s Gold No. 27. The video was made for a point of sale display at the Hong Kong International Airport, and its marriage of slick table-top product shots coupled with eye–popping graphics, makes this a perennial favorite amongst the studio’s artists. Though the piece plays without sound, we added a little Massive Attack here for your enjoyment.

Grabbing the distinctive images in this piece required original thinking and unique production techniques. Luckily, Spacejunk has a number of talented partners to help us grab the perfect shot. Even something as seemingly simple as shooting liquid pouring into a glass requires an experienced eye and a skilled hand to make it visually appealing.

The Right Tool


A variety of FPS or Frame Per Second speeds were used in this spot to heighten the splendor of the whiskey. For this we turned to the Sony F55, provided by our friends at OhioHD, to provide the fast frame rates and color depth to create these delicious visuals.

"We wanted to highlight the golden color of not just the bottle label, but also the whiskey itself. We used a variety of lighting techniques and careful color grading to get it just right."
